FOLC Wins National BLM Award for Outstanding Volunteer Group!
This year, the Bureau of Land Management hosted its first-ever Community Engagement Awards to recognize, showcase and reward outstanding contributions to BLM in the areas of education, interpretation, partnerships, volunteers, and youth programs – and we are thrilled to announce that FOLC was selected as an Outstanding Volunteer Group award winner! FOLC was nominated by BLM King Range Manager, Paul Sever, and BLM Outdoor Recreation Planner, Sandy Miles, and FOLC representatives were presented a plaque at a virtual awards ceremony on September 20th to recognize our outstanding service and contributions to the BLM as one of two volunteer group national award winners.
