Friends of the Lost Coast acknowledge that the lands we gather on are the traditional, unceded territory of the Sinkyone and Mattole peoples, who have stewarded the land, water, plants, and animals from time immemorial, with great respect for the interconnectedness of life and ecological knowledge that is foundational to the health and sustainability of the Lost Coast and its’ preservation for future generations.
