Shelter Cove Work Party & Brick-Laying at BSB
April 6 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

The 25th anniversary of the National Conservation Lands will be celebrated with stewardship and an opportunity for the community to help in commemorating our national monuments at a rescheduled Black Sands Beach brick-laying and Shelter Cove work party on Sunday, April 6. Hosted by Friends of the Lost Coast and BLM King Range, volunteers are invited to lend a hand between 10a.m. and 1p.m. to tend the native plant gardens at the site and lay new brick pavers commemorating recent additions to our National Conservation Lands. A limited number of stipends are available for ages 10-17. Meet at the Black Sands Beach parking area, 856 Beach Road in Shelter Cove. Tools and gloves are provided – plus free swag for volunteers!
