Conservation History & Ecology of the King Range is the focus of installment #7 in Shelter Cove Arts & Recreation Foundation’s 8-part nature/watercolor series, happening from 1 to 4pm on Saturday, August 29 at the Shelter Cove Community Clubhouse. Guest speaker, Justin Crellin, Executive Director of Friends of the Lost Coast, will discuss the history and ecology of King Range National Conservation Area and its role in shaping the National Landscape Conservation System, while Venessa Kay & Darcie Maassen lead the class in exploring landscapes using gouache on cold-press watercolor paper.
