Are you interested in public lands and want to help keep them pristine? If so, this Leave No Trace training is for you! Entitled, Effective Communication of Leave No Trace Principles, this free training, offered by the Bureau of Land Management and conducted by a trainer from the Leave No Trace Center, will be on Monday, May 1 from 1 to 3:30p.m. at the Lost Coast Education Center – located near 768 Shelter Cove Rd in Whitethorn. Volunteers for the BLM and volunteers/staff with local environmental service organizations are encouraged to attend, as are members of the general public interested to learn more about the principles of Leave No Trace.
