Friends of the Lost Coast Celebrates 25 Years!

In the year 2000, Friends of the Lost Coast was founded as the Lost Coast Interpretive Association to support the interpretive offerings of BLM’s King Range National Conservation Area. From humble beginnings, we have since grown and expanded our non-profit mission and programming – and 2025 marks our 25th anniversary! We’ll be celebrating this exciting milestone throughout the remainder of the year, kicking off Saturday, September 13th with a special 25th Anniversary Pints For Non-Profits at Gyppo Ale Mil in Shelter Cove. Join us at 6pm for craft beers, tasty food, live music by Dylan Weber, a slideshow featuring people and programs throughout our history, and fun giveaways of FOLC merch and public lands swag.
