CA State Parks, Sanctuary Forest, and Friends of the Lost Coast are teaming up on Saturday, June 3 from 10a.m.-1p.m. to remove French broom and other invasive species in Sinkyone Wilderness State Park. Tools and gloves will be provided. Please bring water and a snack, plus wear sturdy shoes and layers. Meet at the Jones Beach trailhead at 10a.m., parking is limited and carpooling is recommended. Also, thanks to a grant from the CA Coastal Commission’s Whale Tail program, Friends of the Lost Coast is offering five stipend opportunities to local youth, ages 12-16, to participate in this stewardship event.
