Join FOLC and BLM on Wednesday, July 5th from 9am to 12pm for our second Adopt-A-Beach Cleanup of 2023!  Timed to occur the morning after Shelter Cove’s massive July 4th festivities, this is perhaps the most important beach cleanup of the year.  We’ll meet 9am at Mal Coombs Park and will work until noon to keep Shelter Cove’s beaches clean and pristine.  FOLC will also be offering a limited number of $10/hr stipends for youth, ages 12-16, courtesy of a grant from the CA Coastal Commission’s Whale Tail program.  For more information, to RSVP, or to register a local youth for a stipend, email [email protected].
