The basics of pole-style building using sustainably-harvested log poles will be covered in a free 3-day workshop hosted by Friends of the Lost Coast and BLM King Range at the Lost Coast Education Center in Whitethorn on September 20-22. Running 9am to 4pm all three days, with 3-day commitment strongly encouraged, the workshop will feature the master pole builders of Polecraft Solutions to create a 20×20 shade structure that will expand the native plant nursery at the site.
