Join local astronomer and science educator, Mark Bailey, for Exploring the Night Sky on Friday, August 29 at the Lost Coast Education Center in Whitethorn. Presented by Friends of the Lost Coast & BLM King Range, this free event offers an opportunity to learn about the moon, stars and celestial phenomena, with multiple telescopes available for public viewing. The event runs 8:30pm to 11pm with desserts and refreshments available.
