Join FOLC, Sanctuary Forest and CA State Parks for this free birding hike with Tess McGuire in Sinkyone Wilderness State Park. We’ll learn about meadow, shore, and forest birds found along this remote stretch of coastline, plus talk about their nesting and parenting habits. Spanish translation will be provided by Erika Granadino, interpreter with CA State Parks. Space is limited and advance registration is required. We’ll meet at 8:30am at the Sanctuary Forest office in Whitethorn to carpool/caravan to the trailhead, with return at approximately 2pm. Bring binoculars if you have them!
