Fall is a perfect time for planting, and Friends of the Lost Coast has a great selection of native plants that are available for donation at its nursery in Whitethorn. Come on Sunday, October 3^rd from 10 to 2pm and check out a wide array of flowering native perennials, shrubs, trees and grasses. Native plants are beautiful, resilient and many are drought tolerant, perfect for any garden! Friends of the Lost Coast’s nursery and Native plant garden is located at the BLM King Range complex at 768 Shelter Cove Road. Look for the sign that says Native Plants!
